Ohio awards more than $2 million to continue cleanup, demolition of Eastland Mall
The state has awarded more than $2 million to continue the demolition and cleanup of Eastland Mall.
The money, from the state Department of Development's Ohio Brownfield Remediation Program, will be used to remove asbestos and "eight dilapidated structures" on the former mall's site at South Hamilton and Refugee roads on Columbus' Southeast Side.

Eastland residents will soon be able to get their groceries in the same place they get their health care, thanks to the new Eastland Prosperity Center.
