STEAM Sports Lab focuses on the intersection of science, technology, engineering, arts and math, and one of our favorite things: SPORTS. In STEAM Sports Lab, your young K-12 engineers and scientists will learn all about how we play sports and build the devices and gadgets that enable them to excel and thrive when playing - that’s right, we’re swapping out the materials in our makerspace to produce sporting equipment!
Join Makerspace Central at Dick’s House of Sport in Polaris for two science-tastic sports focused experiences with our first Saturday, February 28th and the second on Saturday, March 28th. Both workshops will run from 10 am to 12:30 pm. As always, participation in our events is free, just register online! There are limited spots for these events so sign-up early. Attendees will dive deep into the STEAM of sports and we’ve got a few fun surprises in store, too! See you there!
