Field of Angels: Honoring Franklin County's Babies

  • Columbus City Hall Lawn 90 West Broad Street Columbus, OH, 43215 United States (map)

On September 23, the Columbus City Hall lawn will be transformed into a field of 1,539 white pinwheels - each one representing a Franklin County baby lost over the last decade. Every pinwheel carries a family’s story of love and loss, a birthday that never came, and a child who will forever be remembered.

Together with Mayor Andrew Ginther and local families, CelebrateOne will host Field of Angels: Honoring Franklin County’s Babies during Infant Mortality Awareness Month. This will be a deeply emotional evening - one where we come together to honor the lives lost, stand with the families who carry their memories, and recommit ourselves to building a future where every baby celebrates their first birthday.
