10 a.m. | We’ll cut the ribbon and open for business!
10:30 a.m. | Join us for a brief indoor dedication program.
11 a.m.- 2 p.m. | Stay for our open house celebration:
Fun activities for kids: Meet Bruce the Bear, get creative with make & take buttons, photos and bookmarks and more!
History of Your Branch : Watch a video with historical photos and facts about the branch compiled by the library’s Local History & Genealogy staff. Stop by the "history phone booth" and record your memories of the library.
Commemorative Library Card : Sign up for a limited-edition library card to remember the grand opening day!
E-reader Giveaway : Drop your name to win one of two Amazon Kindles that can be used with a library card to check out eBooks and eAudiobooks.
Balloon Scavenger Hunt : Explore your new library by looking for special balloon displays by Erica Carlson. Stop by the children’s area for the guide!
Refreshments: Free snacks and drinks, while supplies last.
Library Street Squad & Friends of the Library tables: Spin the prize wheel to win prizes and learn about the library.
Starting Dec. 13, your new branch will have new hours!
Monday-Thursday: 9 a.m.-8 p.m.
Friday and Saturday: 9 a.m.-6 p.m.
Sunday: 1-5 p.m.
